Situated on the levels of Eastbourne, East Sussex, this apiary site is part of West Rise Junior School and we are endeavouring to regenerate the honeybee colonies which were installed some six years ago. We are working with other environmental and charitable organisations to maximise biodiversity on the Marsh. We are keen to keep at least one hive on site, but there are numerous other opportunities to engage the children and public with the wildlife potential of the area.
